Reidsville is located in Tattnall County, of which it is the county seat, west of Savannah between Lyons and Glenville along Highway 280 near the Fort Stewart military installation in the Historic South Region of the state. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,653, an increase of 184 since 1990.
