The 10 story Aloha Tower was built in 1926 at Pier 9 in downtown Honolulu. The tower, with a four-sided clock, is now part of a new inter-island cruise ship terminal. The Aloha Tower Marketplace has 100 stores, eateries and kiosks.
Many shops sell Hawaiiana items and there is a spectacular view of the harbor and downtown from the top-floor observation deck. The old terminal still has murals depicting life from the first half of the century when cruise ships docked here.
The Food Lanai on the second floor of the Aloha Tower Marketplace includes Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Wok & Roll and Scott's Seafood Grill and Bar.
