Waikiki Beaches

Waikiki Beach is actually a string of beaches extending two and a half miles between Hilton Hawaiian Village on one end and Diamond Head on the other. All beaches in Hawaii are public, so even though a hotel is next to a beach, public access is provided.

Visitors should observe warnings about surf and water conditions since conditions can be extreme, especially in winter months. Protect exposed skin and avoid sunburn in clear skies not far from the equator.
