Established in 1988, Carmela Vineyards was purchased in July 1997 by Roger and Nancy Jones. The impressive stone winery sits overlooking the Snake River, adjacent to Three Island Crossing State Park. Carmela wines are estate grown and bottled, and including Johannisberg Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay. A unique 9-hole golf course winds its way through the acres of vineyards surrounding the winery, drawing golfers from all over the region. In addition to the winery, there is a family-style restaurant, gift shop, tasting room, golf pro shop, full bear, banquet-conference rooms, and an outside veranda.
