Nestled on the sunny west side of the Grand Tetons, Grand Targhee Ski Resort enjoys uncrowded slopes, abundant powder (over 500 inches annually) and awesome Teton scenery. Targhee offers skiers two mountains totalling 3000 acres. Some 1500 acres are served are served with lifts with 300 acres of wide, groomed trails and 1200 acres of skiable powder.
The other 1500 acres are reserved for snowcat skiing. This 2800-foot vertical drop mountain is an adventure in "powder heaven."
Grand Targhee's three lodges, five restaurants, bar, retail shops and outdoor heated pool are all within 50 yards of the lifts. XC and snowboarders are also welcome. Lodging is available in Driggs.
