War Eagle Outfitters and Guides want guest to feel a true sense of history--dust, bumps and all--when they retrace portions of the California Trail in Southeastern Region. Guests cover 70 miles by horse-drawn covered wagon in a five-day journey from Massacre Rocks to the City of Rocks, a key junction of the California and Oregon trails. Thousands of emigrants passed through southeast Idaho as they took wagon trains to California during the gold rush days, 1848-1860.
War Eagle Outfitters provide historical interpretation as well as meals and camping.
