Annbriar is a public 18-hole, par 72, 6,850-yard course located in southwestern Illinois in Monroe County. It was rated by Golf Digest as one of America's "Top 500 Places to Play." With a 4.5-star rating, it is ranked 7th in the state of Illinois and "best" in the St Louis metro area.
Constructed on the grounds of an old homestead, an attractive clubhouse now graces the site of the original farmhouse and a large pavilion is located where the barn was. The 100-year-old smokehouse, which still stands, was adopted as the Annbriar logo.
The men's Championship tees are rated at 72.8 with a challenging slope of 136. The Black tees are 6,425 yards long and carry a rating of 70.9 with a slope of 129 while the Orange tees play to a length of 5,950 and rates out at 68.1 and 123. Ladies can play the tougher Green tees (5,500/70.6/118) or the shorter Red tees which are 4,775 yards long with numbers of 66.4 and 110.
