Centralia

Centralia is located in southern Illinois in Marion County about 15 miles northwest of Mt. Vernon along U.S. Highway 51 south of the Kaskaskia River and about 15 miles southeast of Carlyle Lake. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 14,229, a decrease of 247 since 1990.
