East Peoria

East Peoria is located in central Illinois in Tazewell County on the banks of the Illinois River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 22,117, an increase of 739 since 1990.

For those that enjoy high-stakes gambling, East Peoria offers the 1,800 passenger Par-A-Dice Riverboat and Casino. Other recreational outlets include the Fon Du Lac Golf Course and the challenge it presents to all skill levels.

For students seeking post-high school education, the town is the home of Illinois Central College.
