McHenry County College is located in Crystal Lake, McHenry County, IL, and has an enrollment of about 16,500. Created in 1967 as Illinois' 28th community college, MCC today is situated on about 110 acres and boasts a recently completed 44,000 sq. ft. Center for Advanced Technology complete with state-of-the-art laboratory space for Electronics, Drafting, Computer Aided Design, Fire Science, Basic Nurse Assisting and Criminal Justice. Another focal point of the campus is the 96,000 sq. ft. Conference Center which houses offices, dining facilities, Children's Learning Center, and the bookstore.
