Frontier Community College

Known until 1978 as Illinois Eastern Community College, Frontier Community College has been located in Fairfield, Wayne County, IL since 1974 and has an enrollment of about 5000. This figure includes students enrolled in learning centers in Flora and Newton.

They are particularly proud of the 39,000 square foot Workforce Development Center--one of the largest buildings in the College district.

Programs include Advanced Network Professional; Web Design; Industrial Quality Management; Emergency Disaster Services Technician and Basic Nurse Assistant Training.
