Lake Marie

Lake Marie (480 acres and about 35' deep) has three inlets on the north side from Channel Lake and a smaller inlet from Sequoit Creek on the northeast side. It empties into Bluff Lake on the south and Grass Lake on the west.

Northern Pike and Muskie have growing populations but the Largemouth Bass is the most aboundant and run in the 12-14" range. Pumpkinseed, Bluegill and Crappie are among the rest of the 14 or 15 species.

The lake is about 20 miles west of Lake Michigan and 50 miles north of Chicago and in close proximity of Chain O' Lakes State Park to the southwest.
