Piper Glen is a public 18-hole, par 72, 7,000-yard (from the back tees) course located in Sangamon County. Among the honors the course has received was for the 9th hole to be named one of the 18 most challenging holes in the state by Golf Illinois magazine in 2000.
The rating from the Gold tees is 73.6 with a slope of 133. The Blues play to a 71.9 and 127 over a 6,600-yard course while the Whites measure 6,100 yards with numbers of 70.1 and 123. The ladies play from the Red tees rated at 65.4/116 on a course covering 5,150 yards.
The Stewart Grill is open a 7 am for breakfast. Lunch is also served from 10:30.
