Red Bud

Red Bud is located in southwestern Illinois in northwestern Randolph County about 30 miles south-southeast of St Louis. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 3,331, an increase of 324 since 1990.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes outings to Kaskaskia River SFWA. In addition, one of the highlights of summer is the "Town & Country Festival" held annually on the second Friday in August.
