Sam Dale Conservation Area

One mile northwest of Johnsonville in Wayne County in southern Illinois is a multiple-use recreational area with a 200-acre lake. It offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including hunting and 2 class B/E campgrounds on its 1,300 acres.
