Located in south central Illinois in Moultrie County about 20 miles southeast of Decatur.
A 7,000-acre wildlife area on the north end of Lake Shelbyville, the Shelbyville State Fish and Wildlife Area is composed of the Kaskaskia and West Okaw units. Hunting for waterfowl, forest game, and upland game is popular in this facility. Boat access is provided to accommodate anglers and hunters.
