Sparta

Sparta is located in southwestern Illinois in Randolph County about 45 miles southeast of St Louis along Highway 4 about 20 miles northeast of the Mississippi River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 4,535, a decrease of 318 since 1990.

Golfers will enjoy an outing at Sparta Country Club.
