Carthage, Knightstown & Shirley Railroad

Departing from the CKS Depot on Carey Street, this round-trip tour covers 10 miles through scenic countryside and over the Big Blue River. Passengers sit in enclosed or open-air train cars and listen to the engineer spin anecdotes about the journey and the old line that used to run on the same tracks.

Train departs Saturday and Sunday and holidays at 11, 1, and 3pm, Friday at 11am in May through October.
