Elwood Haynes Museum

Located on South Webster Street, this museum contains articles relating to the inventor's life including 1905, 1923, and 1924 Haynes automobiles. The second floor contains industrial displays. A monument east of the city marks the place where Haynes' original car, one of the first American automobiles, made its initial road test on July 4, 1894. Guided tours are available.
