White River

The White River rises in two forks near the eastern boundary of Indiana and flows southwest for about 350 miles to its junction with the Wabash at Mount Carmel, Illinois. Indianapolis is located on the west fork of the river. Tributaries of the west fork include the Eel River, of the east fork, the Muscatatuck River and Flatrock Creek.
