This 1844 restored house was built by Colonel William Jones, a merchant, lieutenant colonel in the Union Army and lifelong friend of Abraham Lincoln. Surrounded by 100 acres of forest, the site includes an herb garden, hiking trail, and a reconstructed log barn.
