Hammond Yacht Club's favorite activities include an Annual Commodore's Ball, Launch Party, Reggae Beach Party, and Venetian Weekend which includes a lighted boat parade, Rubber Raft Regatta, food vendors, music provided by the Horseshoe Casino and fireworks sponsored by the Hammond Port Authority. They also have weekly sail fleet races.
