Founded: 1884. Population: 716 (1990); 636 (2000). Elevation: 1453 feet. An incorporated city in western Harper County. The name Attica refers to the region of ancient Greece that contained Athens. Attica has an unusually nice park with rest rooms on the east side of town. Overnight camping is permitted.
