Fairview-Riverside State Park

This gem of a park offers a beautiful site on the cool, clear waters of the Tchefuncte River with opportunities galore for family relaxation, nature study, active water sports, fishing, boating, canoeing or just relaxing. Endowed with mossy live oaks, cool piney woods, riverfront recreation, a cypress swamp and the historic Otis House, the park is truly a delightful area to experience tranquility and peace.

Nestled amoung the huge oaks are 81 improved campsites to lure the overnight visitor, while 20 tentsites are available for the more adventurous camper. For the boater, there is a public launch in Madisonville, less than two miles away. Picnic tables, grills, pavillions, a playground and bicycling is allowed in the park.
