As part of the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, and through the opportunities created by a large service population (approximately 350,000), Conway has developed into one of the best equipped, staffed and administered hospitals in northeast Louisiana. It is licensed for 252 beds, including an Intensive Care Unit, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and an inpatient unit for acute psychiatric care.
