Founded in 1960 by the citizens of Tangipahoa Parish as a 60-bed, not-for-profit hospital service district facility, the former "Seventh Ward General Hospital" of Hammond, Louisiana has evolved into North Oaks Health System.
North Oaks offers almost every conceivable health related service with the exception of a burn center and organ transplant surgery. Beyond North Oaks physical growth, its health care team also has advanced, perpetually seeking out the most technologically advanced staff, equipment, services and procedures with which to personalize care for patients and their families.
