The Big Lake Guide Service specializes in fishing and hunting on the Gulf of Mexico, Calcasieu Lake, and surrounding marshes. It includes several species such as speckled trout, redfish, sand trout, and croakers. Hunting can be experienced with guided duck men and will be provided boat or ATV depending on the hunt.

Hunting takes place either at a fresh water marsh or in flooded rice fields. The fresh water marsh blinds are located in Cameron Parish, adjacent to Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge. It offers duck hunters with exceptional old time southern duck and goose hunts.

Accommodation is available and is arranged in three spacious lodges. Each lodge is furnished. The cuisine is prepared by request.
