Ruston

Ruston is located in Lincoln Parish (of which it is the parish seat) within the Sportsman's Paradise Region, between Minden and Monroe along US Highway 167 near Grambling and Arcadia.

Home to the Louisiana Tech University and Grambling State University campuses.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 19,615, a decrease of 456 since 1990.
