The Desert Plantation is a National Register Antebellum home located close to Clark Creek Natural Area. The home is furnished with period furnishings. Each of the four guest suites is furnished with antiques, private path, including four-poster queen sized beds. There are two upstairs guest rooms equipped with wet bar, TV, refrigerator, and microwave.
A southern style full country breakfast is served. The activities are hiking, bicycling, waterfalls, swimming, horseback riding, bird watching, nature photography, fossil and artifact collecting, ATV, hunting, and fishing. Area attractions include Old Pond Store, Clark's Creek Natural Area, and Greenwood Plantation.
