The commune of Wincrange, population 3,382, is the largest Luxembourgian commune in terms of surface area, but one of the least densely settled. It is located on Luxembourgs northwest tip.
Allerborn, Asselborn, Boevange, Boxhorn, Brachtenbach, Cinqfontaines, Maulusmuehle, Crendal, Deiffelt-Lentzweiler, Derenbach, Doennange, Hachiville, Hamiville, Hoffelt, Lullange, Niederwampach-Schimpach, Oberwampach, Rumlange-Lentzweiler, Sassel, Stockem, Troine-Hinterhasselt, Troine-Route, Weiler, and Wincrange (population 197) are boroughs within the commune of Wincrange.
Several major roadways cross Wincranges extensive territories, including the N12, the N18, and the N20.
