American International College (AIC), in 25 buildings on 58 acres, is a small co-educational private college offering more than 30 undergraduate and graduate programs, three dozen student clubs and organizations, and 16 varsity athletic programs for men and women. AIC was founded in 1885 for the express purpose of educating immigrants new to the country for United States citizenship. Its name reflects its mission of educating students for world citizenship. The College recruits its students throughout the world and seeks to provide them with a global perspective. It uses the credo--a small college for a big world.
