Just one block from the Village Center, all 10 rooms of the stately Cyrus Kent House are surrounded by gardens and offer private baths and extended cable television. This gracious and historic house was built in 1877 for a prominent sea captain. Included in the treasures is an original oil painting of Cyrus' wife, Sarah Nickerson Kent. With its ideal location at the elbow of the Cape, Chatham is the quintessential New England seaside village. The tree-lined Main Street harbors unique shops, art galleries and boutiques, as well as restaurants and gourmet coffeehouses. As you reach the end of Main Street, you can hear the ocean call. The famous Chatham Lighthouse stands guard over nearly 70 miles of magnificent coastline from Nantucket Sound to the Atlantic Ocean. It has been beautifully restored and features lovely landscaped grounds. Senior discounts are offered.
