The 1881 Victorian has taken on its former look of elegance. The first two floors are of the Victorian Period. The spacious common rooms include a living room, dining room, and library, with marble fireplaces, antiques, reproductions, and new furniture. French doors lead to the screened porch where breakfast is served during summer months. Three second floor bedrooms have decorative marble fireplaces. Painted wide-board floors and stenciling give the third floor bedrooms country ambience. All eight bedrooms have new private baths. The Four Chimneys Inn on Cape Cod is located on Route 6A which is one of the nation's top 10 most scenic and historic roads. Surrounded by expansive lawns, gardens, and woods, the inn offers a country setting. Scargo Lake, with two freshwater beaches, is directly across the road. The lake, stocked with trout and small-mouthed bass, is one of the most popular fishing spots on the Cape.
