The Straus Center is a facility that uses analysis and treatments for the collections accumulated in the University Art museums, the Fogg Art Museum, the Busch-Reisinger Museum, and the Arthur M Sackler Museum. The collections housed in all of these museums include over 150000 objects in all forms of art, coming from all continents, from antiquity to present day time periods. This astounding collection is known as one of the finest University art collections in the world.

The Straus Center uses new technology to examine and analyze the structural and even the chemical nature of works of art and other historical objects.
