Ocean City is located in Worcester County on US 50 and Hwy 528 near Assateague Island National Seashore. Ocean City is a resort town on a 10 mile barrier island that separates the Atlantic Ocean to the east from a chain of bays; Assawoman, Isle of Wright, Motego and Sinepuxent and the mainland to the west. The Ocean City Inlet, connecting the sea and the bays, offers sport fishing boats and pleasure boats a safe harbor with access to the ocean.
Deep-sea fishing for white and blue marlin, tuna, wahoo, and bull dolphin can be arranged through a number of charter boat operators. Several evening cruises are available through local restaurants and at the marinas. Sail-boat cruises are also offered.
