Seboomook Wilderness Campground is located on the uppermost northwestern end of Maine's beautiful Moosehead Lake. It offers several cabins ranging from the basic primitive shelter to beautiful modern housekeeping cabins with fully equipped kitchens and full bath. All the cabins are heated and some have electricity. Grassy level water front sites with some utility hookups are available for RV campers. They have Adirondack shelters and tent sites with water and electric hook-ups on the shore of Moosehead Lake with a beautiful beachfront. There is a modern heated bathhouse with flush toilets and privacy stalls, centrally located in the campground with free hot showers. Adjacent to the waterfront sites is a large lawn area available for games such as badminton, volleyball and horseshoes. There is a store, providing groceries, beer, ice, assorted snacks and candies, ice creams, gasoline, diesel, oil, automotive supplies, and hardware. All the cabins are nonsmoking. Pets are not allowed.
