New England's first federally designated "Critical Access Hospital" specializes in providing diagnostic, rehabilitative and acute care services in concert with an active medical staff of 24 board-certified physicians.
Blue Hill Memorial Hospital (BHMH) has an award-winning primary ealthcare system and a state of the art facility. In 2000, BHMH completed its first major construction and renovation project in more than 20 years. It included a new Ambulatory Surgery Department, a new Emergency Department, Lobby and Pharmacy. In addition, Maternity and Radiology and the Intensive Care Unit were completely renovated.
