Fowlerville is in Livingston County, and in the Southeast Region (part of the Ann Arbor, Michigan metro area). This community is accessed off of I-96. This area was first pioneered by Ralph Fowler in 1836. A small community named Cedar was established shortly afterwards, while growing large enough to have a post office by 1838. In 1849, Fowler hired Amos Adams to officially plat the village; it was at that time Ralph renamed his town Fowlerville in 1853. The economic support for Fowlerville comes primarily from its location as a bedroom community to the greater Lansing area.

Tri-state Bluegrass Festival Kendallville IN May24-27 The goal that the board of directors has tried to achieve at these festivals is to provide high quality and a variety of entertainment in a family oriented atmosphere that encourages jamming.
Mentone Egg Festival Mentone IN May30-June1 The three-day event features entertainment, games, food, a parade in the downtown area, a play area for kids, and a huge car, truck, motorcycle and tractor show. All entertainment events are free. Flea markets and crafters line the main street in our downtown.
Wakarusa Bluegrass Festival Wakarusa IN June7-9 This is also a free event, and a free-will offering will also help support this event.
Cook's Calf Day Celebration Wolcottville IN June15 Enjoy a day of family fun where the food's delicious, the music's great, and the buffalo still roam. It's all at our annual Calf Day Celebration! You can hitch a free wagon ride to see and feed buffalo, learn how buffalo hair is spun, watch as smoked bison jerky is made over an open fire, interact with Native Chief Harry and bite into a tasty buffalo burger and other concession food.
Turtle Days Churubusco IN June19-22 The four day festival will be filled with contests, vendors, concessions, music, games, rides, fireworks, and many activities for the whole family.
