Mecosta County General Hospital (MCGH) is a 74-bed acute-care hospital serving the needs of Mecosta County and the surrounding area of the West-central Michigan area. From its facility in Big Rapids, approximately one block from the campus of Ferris State University, MCGH also maintains Mecosta Health Services, a multi-specialty practice as a Rural Health Clinic located in Big Rapids and Canadian Lakes.

A personalized approach to advanced health care technology has been a strong and visible part of the Mecosta County General Hospital Tradition from an early state-of-the-art hospital created in 1879 to the model acute care community and regional health facility they have become today.
