Ortonville Recreation Area

Fishing is allowed throughout the recreation area, with access sites located on Algoe, Davison, Round and Tody Lakes. Please note that fishing on Algoe Lake is catch/release only.

One 20 person rustic cabin is located at the Bloomer #3 unit located on State Park Road. The Pines Cabin is a single room cabin with triple-high bunks. It sleeps 20 people, does not have electricity, and is accessible only by foot, but is connected to cross country skiing and mountain biking trails.

From the Equestrian campground 6.5 miles of horse trails are available for the horseback rider. A 1.5 mile cross-country skiing trail and a 2.75 mile hiking and mountain bike trail are also located in the area.
