This 45,500-acre giant spans the Missouri-Arkansas state line, with about 16,400 acres on the Missouri side. Known for its bass fishing, Bull Shoals also has many other species to challenge the angler. Set amid the forested Ozark hills, the lake also offers a wide range of water sports, including scuba diving. Boat ramps and campgrounds are plentiful, especially at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers public-use areas, and some offer public beaches. Lodging available in the nearby small communities.
