Onondaga Cave is recognized as one of the most spectacular caves in the nation because of the quality of its formations. Guided tours of this National Natural Landmark are available daily, March through October, for a fee. The Meramec River winds along the boundary of Onondaga Cave State Park, providing opportunities for swimming, fishing and canoeing. The 1,317-acre park also offers a visitor center, camping and picnicking facilities, and hiking trails.
