Located on Washington Street, this museum presents the naval history of the War Between the States, using paintings, reference materials, artifacts and model ships.
Open Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm; closed major holidays. Opened in historic downtown Vicksburg, Mississippi, on April 3, 1993. Today, the Gray & Blue houses models of 86 Union and Confederate vessels, the largest known collection of American Civil War model ships in the world. Operated by the Gray & Blue Naval Society, a non-profit organization, our stated mission is to preserve the history of the navies that fought in our nation's greatest struggle.
