The Gray and Blue Naval Museum

Located on Washington Street, this museum presents the naval history of the War Between the States, using paintings, reference materials, artifacts and model ships.

Open Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm; closed major holidays. Opened in historic downtown Vicksburg, Mississippi, on April 3, 1993. Today, the Gray & Blue houses models of 86 Union and Confederate vessels, the largest known collection of American Civil War model ships in the world. Operated by the Gray & Blue Naval Society, a non-profit organization, our stated mission is to preserve the history of the navies that fought in our nation's greatest struggle.
