Lolo

Lolo is located in Missoula County 11 miles south of Missoula on US 93 near Cleveland Mountain. An important junction in Western history, Lolo is a gateway to the Bitterroot Valley.

The Lolo Pass Visitors Information Center nearby on US 12 near the Idaho/Montana line describes the historic Lolo Trail, used by the Nez Perce Indians as a buffalo trail and by the Lewis and Clark Expedition en route to the Pacific.
