Lolo National Forest

Lolo National Forest ranges from the Swan Range to the Idaho border, covering more than 2 million acres in an area 120 miles long by 40 to 80 miles wide. It produces timber and supports substantial elk populations. The 3500 miles of streams in the forest provide many recreational opportunities, including trout fishing in Rock Creek.

The forest is administered by the US Forest Service.
