This city museum reflects all the excitement and heartache that go into the growth of a frontier town from an Indian camp. Emphasis is on the fur trade from the 1840's through the 1860's, and ranching and homesteading during the 1900's. The Poplar Museum and Tribal Museum feature tribal history and artifacts. There are many tribal celebrations throughout the year, including the Iron Ring Celebration and Wadopanan-Last of the True Powwows.'Open mid-June through mid-September from 11:00 to 5:00 weekdays. Free admission.
