Exploring the Upper Musselshell Museum is like prowling around in someone's attic or barn. Be careful, though. You may run into a full-size replica of a dinosaur skeleton found in nearby Shawmut! There are also several collections of fossils and bones, and a 2000-year-old buffalo skull. The two-story limestone building, constructed in 1909, is filled with treasures that belonged to the people who lived in, worked, and developed the Upper Musselshell River country. Open May through October, Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 5:00 and Sunday, 1:00 to 5:00.
