On the edge of the scenic badlands and the home of the moss agate, the Prairie County Museum began in 1975 in the historic 1916 State Bank of Terry building. It now includes the 1906 Bank of Terry building, the only steam heated outhouse west of the Miss issippi, a pioneer homestead, a Burlington Northern train depot, and the famous Cameron Gallery.
