This two-story structure was the home of textile pioneer E.M. Holt. The Holt home was completely remodeled by L. Banks Holt in the popular Italianate Revival style after the Civil War. The 19th century house-museum is now furnished with authentic pieces of the period. The upper floor is devoted to rotating and temporary exhibits dealing with aspects of local history, including quilts, Native American artifacts, pottery, antique clothing, antique toys and 19th century military artifacts.
