This is a Western theme park incorporating a restored narrow-gauge coal-fired steam railroad that once ran from Boone to Johnson City, Tennessee. Today's passengers experience mock robberies and American Indian attacks during the train ride. The railroad town has an 1880s general store, blacksmith shop, sheriff's office and jail. Regular craft demonstrations and live music shows are presented. A chairlift runs to a restored mining town, where children can pan for gold, pet animals and ride a small train.
